What is ecodesign?
This is a new standard approved by the EU that has come into force on 1 January 2022. This standard makes it compulsory for stoves to have:
- Higher efficiency, which translates into higher savings in firewood consumption.
- The lowest emissions,, which means absolute respect for the environment.
Did you know that higher efficiency means savings?
Did you know that for every additional 1% of efficiency you can save up to 15 € per season?
Difference of 10% in the efficiency of a stove means savings of more than €150 during each season. That is €750 over a five-year period. In many cases, it means all or a larger part of the cost of the stove itself.
